Choose your NECKLINE

This is very often that whenever we go out for shopping we look for our favorite colors, attractive laces n embroideries, the kind of fabric which is used and after getting everything in place we tend to buy that perfect outfit which we desire. But what we forget while deciding for that perfect outfit or we hardly pay any attention at times is the NECKLINE of that outfit or dress. Isn’t it that we do not realize the importance of a perfect neckline that enhances the beauty of a dress?
A neckline is a very important feature to be paid attention or while deciding for a dress. It is one of the most distinguishing features which should be looked upon!
It is something which will not only give more detailing to the dress but it also becomes essential for picking a right style of neckline which will give emphasis to your assets and will also hide the problem areas.
It can create an illusion, hide your body flaws, can give an ultra-glam look to your facial structure and will also make you feel comfortable.
Here are some common styles of Necklines:
V-NECK
As the name says, it’s a v shaped neckline. Its depth depends totally upon the choice of wearer.
It is often suitable for the women with apple shaped body or to be precise, with the ones those have heavy mid section as it tends to give an illusion of smaller midsection and makes you look leaner.
This neckline often suits the ladies with broad jaws or square-shaped facial
structure and also looks equally elegant on the ones with round faces but long face women must avoid this style.
U-SHAPE
Also known as a Scoop neck is shaped like a U.
They are dropped from the centre than the normal and are usually low cut lines. It makes a short neck appear longer.
A Scoop neck is suitable for almost every body type and it more complements to Pear shape girls as the neck draws the attention towards the upper body.
It is also suitable for women with an Hour-glass body figure. It is more suitable for the women with small bust as it gives an illusion of a fuller bust, but this neckline shouldn’t be worn by flat chested women.
SQUARE NECKLINE
These necklines are suitable for all body types, but obviously you have to take into consideration each body type.
For example, they are good for women with big bust since they provide a sophisticated frame to the bust area without revealing too much cleavage.
It looks good on those with round faces and a Pear shape body.
This type of neckline also helps to elongate shorter necks and is more suitable for younger women with great skin and firm necks.
Also, is you are having a smaller bust area or you are skinny make sure you choose a fitted square to bring an illusion of curves (a padded buster is advised).
TURTLENECK OR HIGH COLLAR
It is generally a tight fitted high collar neckline that gives more volume to the neck region.
A turtleneck hits a few inches below the chin line and gives an illusion of a long neck, but if worn the wrong way it can make your head appear to be floating in the air, hence this style of neckline disserves much more attention.
It is perfect for those with long faces and thin neck. It must be avoided by the ones with fuller bust and round neck or short neck women and an Apple body shape.
SWEETHEART NECKLINE
Just like its name, a sweetheart neckline forms two curves like a type of heart shape at the bust line that rise over the underarms and reach high over the breasts. Since this neckline has a shape to provide considerable coverage to the
breasts, this works well in accentuating cleavage and perfect for large busted ladies.
It suits almost everyone especially the busted ladies, petite women can wear it to show more curves.
BATEAU NECK (Boat Neck)
Also known as the Sabrina neck, it has a horizontal line which passes from shoulder to shoulder and is most suitable for the women with long faces as it helps to cut the length of the facial structure and is a big NO for those with wide jaws.
It looks good on Pear shaped women as it provides them with the balance with their wide hips.
It should be avoided by Apple-shaped women.

ShOesing With Style

So you have been invited to a party and you want to look your best. Sometimes getting ready can seriously turn into a mess.

You may be thinking something and may end up in something tragically different for yourself and a clowns face for others. Here are some simple ways by which you can glam up your look.

For getting ready with that perfect look you need to first select your outfit and match your shoes with it. The first step in selecting the best shoes is choosing shoes that complement your clothing, rather than ones that compete with your outfit.

For that reason, I always recommend pairing busier shoes with simple outfits, and wearing simple shoes with clothing that features a lot of prints, embellishments or dynamic accessories. It can be tricky to find shoes that complement your clothing, without dominating or being overpowered by it, but the reality is, it's a simple balancing act.

When you look in the mirror, does one element of your outfit stand out more than the others?

Is your outfit too chaotic? i.e. Are the sequins on your shoes competing with the crystals on your dress?

Do your shoes and clothing blend together too much? i.e. Do your black pants, black turtleneck, and black booties all look like one long body suit?

If you answered "yes" to any of the above questions, then the quickest way to pull together a cohesive look is to simply try on another pair of shoes, and ask yourself the questions again.

It doesn't matter how pretty they are, how comfortable they feel, or how discounted they were when you bought them -- if they don't fit the event, the environment and the occasion, then they are -- at least temporarily -- the wrong shoes.

Glitzy evening shoes have no place in the office, and flip-flops aren't generally considered acceptable for a formal event. So how do you know which shoes you should wear?

Well, the simplest approach would be to wear simple loafers or ballet flats for casual events, and classic pumps for anything dressy -- but that can get a little boring. If you want to play it safe without giving into tedium, go ahead and wear those widely-accepted styles but choose a unique color, or a pair that is embellished with a chic buckle or other accent.

If you want to make a more dramatic statement, then by all means, pair stilettos with your
jeans, and sandals with your suits -- but to avoid attracting the wrong kind of attention, you should still stick with shoes that are well-suited to your environment.

Think about the day's events and locations. For example, if an outing to the park is on the agenda, then it's probably not a heels kind of day -- but where you really need to pay attention to which shoes you choose is at work, and at formal events.
